Who I am
I am follower of Jesus and believe the mind, body, and soul are connected. When one of these is off, neglected, or sick they all suffer. I am a wife and a mom to three young adult kids. Surfing is my thing and I am in the water as much as possible, but I love anything outdoors. I have always been super curious regarding all things health and got really into research when I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism fifteen years ago. After being mismanaged and learning the nuance of the thyroid I started to change lifestyle first while working with a practitioner who understood the complexities of being a woman with thyroid disease. This is something that is still ongoing-I always say you have to babysit the thyroid because it is affected by everything! The years of research and studying came full circle when my daughter was diagnosed with black mold poisoning. That year became one of the hardest of my life, but it also solidified me in taking my health education further so that I could help others. The world has so much beauty, but so much toxicity and many of us have no idea the detrimental affects our daily choices are making in our health. My main focus is women and in particular helping women reorient their foundations for optimal health. Us women hear a lot of voices claiming to know the βitβ thing and the truth is we are each bio-individuals and no one thing is going to be right for everyone. My goal is to empower and encourage the client looking to feel good again through an integrative approach using functional labs, coaching, consulting, and direction to a prescribing provider who also understands the complexities of the body.
